What? New band. New entry, and I guess, me.

This is my first journal in years, I don't even remember my other account name, I think it was probably deleted by now. I needed something to do, and so, here I am.
So I really want to go to this 'concert' toury thing 'cause dropping daylight is in it. To tell you the truth though, I didn't know what I was doing last night. I was taking music from my brothers CD collection (which is very minimal, he's, for some reason really picky about music and can't buy or burn CDs) So anyway, here is this CD that I don't remember even listing to, and my brother has (for a reason unknown to me) decided that he doesn't like it. It's all shiny and orange (burned) and has Louis's awful boy scrawl all over it claiming it to be "Sue Generis", so, being the curious type, I pop it in and burn it.
Louis has never given my brother any bad CDs and this is no exception, it's wonderful. Rock alternative with a slightly classical edge.(Mind classical is not usually something I enjoy but believe me, you will all of a sudden decide that it's not that bad) The band is complete with a classically trained pianist,good vocals, deep well thought out lyrics and tight guitar, bass and drums. Fantasmic, honestly. However, they, being from my home town, you would think I would be able to find someone who has thier new CD (I think it's out) but barely anyone has even heard of them. So, I immediately take to the comuter, google search engine and see what I can find. Almost nothing, alright, that's ok, underground band. Turns out the've changed their name, hence dropping daylight. So again I see if I can find anyone who has heard of these guys, nothing. Again, and a last time, I take to the internet. I find their official site and check it out, and I find an ezboard of them. So, for some reason I decide to join (which, is not usually my thing, I don't usually take to worship, or being a super/stalker fan at all for that matter.) So, not really knowing what I'm doing I join, and read some of the boards, what the band has to say and such. Normal thing, the fans are in love with them and are uber protective (I've assumed because when I was checking out pictures of the band, they were mostly of the girls hanging out with the band. I even found pictures where the girl had edited the all the pictures to say 'property of [her name]) So now I want to go to the concert, also in hopes that I can find some more bands. Music wise, I love everything, I can stand some rap and even some country (I know, I feel so accomplished!) I can't (as I stated before) usually stand classical, and do have bands that I despise, but for the most part, as long as it's good, I can listen. Lets see, favorites (as I was so kind to leave nothing in my profile) Umm, well, I like orgy, Hot Hot Heat, The Postal Service, Mars Volta, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Cake, Incubus, Ok Go, Flowerbaby, Sugar cult (I haven't heard any of their latest stuff), Coldplay, Dido, Tommy Makem and the Clancy brothers (obscure, I know, but i'ts a classic to me), Finch, and of course, going old school, some blondie (though lots of their songs sort of meld together) The Doors, The Beatles (who doesn't. Though I can't really listen to them all in a row. It gets a tinge boring) Janis Joplin, The red hot Chili Peppers, Reage Don, Stan Getz, atmosphere, eyedea (sp? i'ts something like that)the stuff of tech nine that i've heard (which I will admit is very little)and any good techno. So now that I've made this entry really long, I admit defeat and have used all the patience I have.
